You were remembered, not by me.
But by those gleaming eyes,
That search for the complementary pair,
Assuring that the things will turn up, the way they wish them to be.

You were remembered, not be me.
But by those pale hands,
That lose their venal flow,
When they didn’t feel the strength of your clenched fingers,
Claiming our togetherness.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by the whimsical mind,
That subconsciously creates an illusion of yours,
Wandering among the crowd, staring at me, mocking at my flaws.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by those unplanned words,
That intertwine your stories,
To any stranger in an involuntary flow.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by those ringing ears,
That hear the distant stream of your laughter,
Channeling down the empty corridors.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by those fingers,
That want to run through your skin,
Feeling the cold drenched layer, without layers.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by those locks,
That are waiting to get untethered upon the shoulders,
Wild and free.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by the veil,
That want to get off,
To dwell into the freedom induced, which was earlier absurd.

You were remembered, not by me.
But by the girl,
Who, how hard tries to live strong, far away from you,
Ends up in sleepless nights, cherishing your incense in her, that you infused too deep.

You were remembered.
