Familiar but strange | RedPaper.in

RedPaper.in – Poetry

The green grass,

The far spread sky without obstruction,

The shallow lake,

The pleasant, maybe warm winds.

Spring blossoms,

Summer leaves,

Packed up live roads,

People, so many of them,

Known, maybe unknown.

Old place in garden below the tree,

Green cold smoothie in the glass jar,

Corner around the street packed with cars,

Nothing has changed in years,

It’s all familiar from within,

Although superficially strange.

But you can breathe it all in.
