Doors and Windows | – Poetry
By: Preeti Vyas |

You know they always search for doors,

They neglect the windows.

They want to get into everything, no matter what it is,

They call it a success, moving forward, speeding,

They didn’t know that often windows are the vents to peak in,

To snuggle into the world but still remain where you are lodging.

Sometimes you open former to get inside the world of despair,

Sometimes you open the later and float high up above in the air,

Choices always mess with you, you can never predict.

What lies beneath the veil is nothing, but verdict.
